Meet Noemi Echeverria

MSN, APRN, FNP-BC

Noemi Echeverria is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 8 years of experience as an FNP and 14 years as a Registered Nurse. She brings a diverse clinical background that includes respiratory therapy, neonatal and pediatric specialization, and advanced wound care. She is also the founder and owner of Family and Wound Care Solutions, where she provides specialized care to patients across Los Angeles through both mobile and clinic-based services.

Since 2015, she has dedicated her career to specialized wound care, having been formally trained by a reconstructive wound care surgeon in Downey, CA. Her expertise includes advanced wound management techniques such as surgical debridement, biopsies, biologic skin substitutes, grafting procedures, negative pressure wound therapy, lymphedema management, and ultrasound misting therapy. She has successfully managed complex wounds, including pressure injuries, diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, traumatic injuries, and post-surgical wounds. Her experience working in mobile clinic wound care has allowed her to bring advanced treatment directly to patients in underserved communities, improving accessibility and continuity of care.

In addition to clinical practice, she is actively involved in research at several clinical sites, where she has conducted studies focused on venous leg ulcers and diabetic foot ulcers. Her research has centered on the use of biologic skin substitutes and other innovative therapies to improve healing outcomes for patients with chronic and complex wounds. This dual role as both practitioner and researcher allows Noemi to bring the latest evidence-based treatments directly into patient care.

Her wound care approach focuses not only on advanced treatment but also on education and prevention. She emphasizes the importance of off-loading, repositioning, and nutritional support to accelerate healing and reduce the risk of complications. By integrating specialized therapies with comprehensive modern treatments, she strives to deliver optimal outcomes, reduce infection risks, and improve the quality of life for her patients.

Beyond wound care, Noemi is registered, certified, and specialized in neonatal and pediatric respiratory care, and her experience as a traveler nurse across multiple Los Angeles hospitals has broadened her expertise and adaptability in diverse healthcare settings.

Noemi earned her Master of Science in Nursing and Family Nurse Practitioner certification from the University of Phoenix, and she is currently completing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree to further strengthen her ability to advance patient care and clinical innovation.

Noemi is passionate about advancing patient-centered care, combining evidence-based practice, research, and innovation with compassion to help patients heal and thrive.
